Ephesians 6:14-17 reads "Stand your ground, putting on the sturdy belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News, so that you will be fully prepared. In every battle you will need faith as your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by Satan. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

Fear

1 John 4:18

“Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.”

Fear is one of the tactics that the enemy loves to use against us. Fear can cripple us if we let it gain control of our thoughts, emotions, and motives. The enemy loves to overwhelm us with the I can’t or we can’t mentality through the word fear. Fear is one of the greatest obstacles for us as believers.

How do you overcome fear?

You overcome fear by putting your full faith in Jesus and strapping up your armor . Recognize that Jesus and His love conquers all. The enemy is truly scared of Gods love. Satan has no grip on the love of Christ. We need to bind ourselves to Gods love, and not the fear of the world. Stay consumed in Gods heart through a commitment to communicate with Him through all portions of your life daily. Don’t hold back your heart and mind from God. Let Him take full control of the fear that you may be feeling.

Daily Prayer:

God show me how to trust in you when my fear takes grip on me. Lord, I need you. Extinguish my fear with your love. I need your help in understanding, and believing that you can conquer all. You are a good, good father. Break down any walls that say you can’t on them, and replace them with the walls that say God can. Lord, I love you, and I believe that your love conquers all. Thank you Jesus for calling me Child. In Jesus name. Amen.
