Romans 12:4-8
“For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith; if service, in his serving; or he who teaches, in his teaching; or he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.”
God has uniquely molded you into the person you are today. You have characteristics, and traits that no one else has. You may look different, act different, and maybe even function in ways that other people do not. God know’s who He created, and He created you. You are beautifully gifted.
God has gifted you in ways where only you can be used in those ways. Maybe you are gifted with the ability to dance, play a sport, encourage, sing, paint, communicate, heal, or even be a leader. The list can go on and on. Maybe you have multiple gifts. The question is are you letting your gifts be used?
Your gifting’s are from the throne room of Heaven, and God wants to use them. You were gifted for a reason, and you have to open up to the idea that your life has a Heavenly impact. Be willing to open up to the spirit of the living King and let your life be used. Surrender your heart, release your burdens, and ask God to use your life as a reflection of His kingdom.
Prayer: Jesus, help me to be used by you. Help me in the areas where I am insecure and I do not feel like I am enough. Where I lack confidence of having the ability to make an impact. Jesus, I know you have gifted me, and I release my life to be used by your kingdom. Help me to hold nothing back, and even allow You to show me things about myself that I did not know. Jesus thank you for being my Savior. I release my gifting’s to you. In Jesus name. Amen
Action: Take a moment to write down qualities about yourself where God has gifted you, then take a moment to pray for those gifting’s to be used.
