Ephesians 6:14-17 reads "Stand your ground, putting on the sturdy belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News, so that you will be fully prepared. In every battle you will need faith as your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by Satan. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

God Listen’s

Psalms 23:4 “4 Even when I walk through the dark valley of death, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.”

Have you ever felt like God why aren’t you listening to me? You say things like “I’m pouring my heart out to you God, and you aren’t answering my prayers. Why are you ignoring me? Do you even love me?” I guarantee the creator of the universe is hearing you, and he understands your heart. God loves you more then you will ever understand. It is an infinite love. The real question that we should be asking ourselves is do we give our hearts and lives to a God who bends down and listen’s to us?

We ask God to bend down and listen to us all the time, but we need to listen to him. God is there to walk us through the dark valley, but we also have to make some changes along the way to stay near to him. Sometimes we need to change the way we see, think, and act to hear what God has to say to us. God wants to protect you and comfort you, but you have to draw near to him and give him the time, so He can show you who He is.

Heavenly Father, You are here and You are near. No matter what I may be feeling right now, I just want to picture You gently cupping my face in Your hands and saying, ā€œIā€™m listening, my child, what do you need to tell me?ā€ Lord, I believe that you are ever with me and that You fully understand me even when others misunderstand me. I pray that You would heal my heart from any wounds that I have accumulated in hard relationships. Father, Thank-You that You are the source of my life and that with You I get to live it to the full. Thank-you for your goodness and Your sweet mercy. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen

Questions: Is there anything that you need to talk to the Lord about? Are you ignoring God in anyway? Do you need to believe that He truly cares for you and that He bends down to listen to your cries?
