Ephesians 6:14-17 reads "Stand your ground, putting on the sturdy belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News, so that you will be fully prepared. In every battle you will need faith as your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by Satan. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

Goodness

‭‭James‬ ‭1:17-18‬ ‭

“Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession.”

‭We are dearly loved. He is our beloved. He stands true for us. He desires relationship with the bruised and beaten. He took the pain for each and everyone of us. He is gracious and good. His name is Jesus. Do you know him? He loves you unconditionally. Waits to hear your voice and loves when he hears you. He adores you, and thinks about you 24/7. You are dearly loved.

God does not stop. His goodness keeps on seeking. Gods goodness seeks us even when we are unseekable. Jesus always gives us the space that we need, but He loves when we respond and take action to draw close to Him. We receive His complete goodness when we open up our heart to commune with Him.

Yes, things may get tough at times, but Gods goodness does not change. It remains the same.

Prayer: Father, show me how to seek your goodness today. Help me to not be distracted by life, but to be distracted by how much you love me and care for me. Pour your goodness over me, so it outpours from my life to others. Let your goodness be what I seek everyday of my life. I need you father. In Jesus name. Amen.

Action: Take a moment to reflect on all the good that God has done in your life, and just say “thank you father.”

Scripture: psalms 84:11, I Chronicles 16:34
