Ephesians 6:14-17 reads "Stand your ground, putting on the sturdy belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News, so that you will be fully prepared. In every battle you will need faith as your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by Satan. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

Mark 8:25 states “Then Jesus placed his hands over the man’s eye’s again. As the man stared intently, his sight was completely restored, and he could see everything clearly.

In this story you can see that Jesus heals a blind man and he does the miraculous. This blind man goes from not seen at all, to seen a little blurry, and then having restoration of his eye sight. A lot of us can relate to what this blind man is going through. Even though we are not physically blind, we are spiritually blind to what God wants to show us.

God wants to open up our spiritual eyes, and make us aware of the things that he can see. There are times when we cannot see at all because we do let him in. There are also times when we can kind of see because we have let him pinch the surface of our lives. Our spiritual eyes are completely opened when we make the decision to let God work through us 24/7. When we give God our lives and absolutely surrender we begin to see how he see’s. He waits to show us just like He showed the blind man in this story.

Prayer: Jesus open my eyes, ears, heart, and mind to see how you see. Jesus help me to chase after you heart continuously to make my life function where it is constantly open to you. I want to be close to you father, but I know that takes my heart being open to you all the time. Help my heart to be open completely to you. In Jesus name amen.

Question & Action: Are your spiritual eyes opened or closed? Ask God to open your eyes to see what he see’s.
