Ephesians 6:14-17 reads "Stand your ground, putting on the sturdy belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News, so that you will be fully prepared. In every battle you will need faith as your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by Satan. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

Safe Place

Philippians 4:6-7 “6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”

God is the safe place that you can run to 24/7. His door is open to you every minute and second of the day. Jesus wore the brokenness upon the cross, so you could see the light that shines from heaven. There is no safer place then within Gods arms. Sometimes we have trouble seeing this safe place because we do not give ourselves the chance to go there. The Lord wants you to know that it is okay to enter into his safe place.

When I was in my youth and teenage years my safe place was the tree in my front yard. Every time I would have something happen in my life I would climb up this 30 foot tree and just sit there and vent to myself. What I didn’t know was I was venting to God in my youth and teenage years. I would sit up there and talk to myself, but God heard everyone of my Conversations. This was my safe place in my youth where I got a lone with God. As I have grown older I have come to realize that God is my safe place all the time. Whether I am here in California or half way around the world God allows me to come into his safe place when ever I want too.

God allows us to come to Him whenever we want. His safe place is always open to us. His drive thru is never closed. He wants to serve you peace that is more wonderful then the human mind can understand.

Question: Do you have a safe place with God? Do you understand that God wants to be your safe place? Are you allowing yourself to enter into God’s safe place?
