Acts 2:44

“And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had.”

Our surrounding is a key part of how we grow, and function. Surround yourself with people, and things that will build you up. Community needs to be an essential part of your life even if your an introvert. 

It is easy to want to do things alone. Scripture clearly states to function together. Yes, believers can be messy. Believers mess up and struggle, but so did the disciples that hung out with Jesus. 

It may be a little tough to surround yourself with other believers, but find ways. Maybe it’s a text chain, or online group that meets weekly. Maybe it’s just plugging ourself into church weekly.  Be intentional on how you surround yourself. Your surroundings can be a key factor on how you grow as a believer. 

Prayer: 

Jesus, help me to surround myself in a way that will be pleasing too you. Take anything out that doesn’t belong. I want to be closer to you and strength myself for your kingdom. Father bring people into my life that are going to build me up for your name. Jesus help me to get out of my shell, and into what you have for me. I need your help Jesus. In Jesus Holy name. Amen 

Action: Find a community group, prayer group, or even a person/mentor that is going to pore into your life for Gods Kingdom.
