2 Corinthians 4:7-11

“But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given our death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body.”

The storm of life is tough at times, but it is so much easier with God in the center of it. I know for me I have been through a rough storm during my walk with God. Things happen like death, disease, emotions, and other hardships. I know for me when I wasn’t walking with God those things were a lot harder for me to deal with, and to try to get through. I carried around emotions like anger, guilt, depression, pride, bitterness, and grudges. I’m not going to say it is always easy now, but I have the living God to help me through the storm. Now I carry around peace, hope, happiness, grace, and freedom.

You don’t realize how powerful God is until you start walking with Him through your storm of life. I guarantee He will show you things that will blow up your world. God is all powerful, and I know from experience that He will help you through anything that you throw at Him. Jesus is always ready to reveal himself to us and through us, but we have to give Him the opportunity to do so.

The Christian walk is so much more than just some religious belief. It is actually being in a personal relationship with a savior who loves us more then we can comprehend. Being a Christian is knowing the creator of this universe and walking with the spirit of a living God every step of the way. Being a Christian is not always the easiest because the Bible states to uphold your cross daily. Being a Christian is tough, but God offers a light that no one in this world offers. He is a living God and wants to live in us. Let the spirit of a living God permeate in you today.
