Ephesians 6:14-17 reads "Stand your ground, putting on the sturdy belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News, so that you will be fully prepared. In every battle you will need faith as your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by Satan. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

Lay Your Burdens At the Cross

“Burdens”

“Burdens”

At times in my life I have struggled with fear, insecurity, anxiety, depressive type behavior, and anger. It comes and goes. It sucks because I am truly a happy person, I have a huge heart, and I love to be a light  to others. I don’t understand it, but I know it is the enemy trying to draw me away from Gods love, and me being used for the Kingdom of God.

Over the years God has shown me how to cope with it, and I continue to give it back to Him. The Bible say, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I give you is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

I have learned to take my burdens to the cross. I literally speak it out and say “Jesus take this from me right now, and replace it with more of you.” It is tough for me to lay my burdens down at times, but I know it is what I need to do every time I struggle because I do not want to remain in that place of feeling stuck. It’s a dark and scary place, and I rather remain in the light with Jesus.

Why am I sharing this? I am sharing this because I know there are others out there like me. You may have a few things that are different, but you can take unlimited different things to the cross. You do not have to stay in that place.

God wants to take your burdens away from you. That’s why he sent his son to die for you. You might even think to yourself am I worthy of Gods love. The answer is “Yes You Are.” God is crazy about you, and will always be crazy about you. He just wants us to continue to run back into His arms, so we can feel his rest and light pour into us.

Prayer to Pray: Jesus my burdens are yours. Take them from me, and pour your light into me. I lay my junk at the cross Father. Make me more like you, and cleanse me from the inside out. I need you father. In Jesus name. Amen.

OVERFLOW

John 4:14

14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

It is so easy to consume our lives with the things of this world. Actually, that is what satan wants us to do. The enemy wants us to indulge our lives and behaviors in things that do not pertain to the Kingdom of God. As a believer of God, Indulgence of the world can get us off track of what God has lined up and in store for us. The things of this world are all temporary, but eternity is forever.

How do we create an eternal mindset?

We create an eternal mindset by allowing the spirit of God to overflow us. Overflowing happens by softening your heart before the Kings heart. It also happens by taking time out of your busy day, and making room for God to love on you. If we don’t allow God to overflow our cups it is hard to create an eternal mindset. Set away time and space where you can get alone with God, and allow Him to overflow you.

Prayer: Jesus overflow me today. Overflow me where I am feeling empty. I need to be drenched by the power of your love and direction. Lord, I need your spirit and truth all around me. Take my eyes off the things that pull my focus off of you. Overflow me with your heart Jesus, and let that overflowing drench others around me. In Jesus name. Amen.

Today’s Action: Think about things that draw your heart away from the Kingdom. Replace those things that will overflow your cup for the Kingdom. (worship, prayer, drawing, reading, community, etc)

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 6:19, Psalm 23:1-6

Involve God

Involve God:

Involve God in everything that you do, and let His heart beat be in everything that you got going on.

We love to be in control, but if we step aside and let the true controller take over; God will put all the right puzzle pieces together. God has to be the Heart Beat in it all.

He wants to bless us, but we have to make Him the center of it all, and make room for Him to so.

BE BOLD

https://youtube.com/shorts/mdu0qDRHdrQ?si=M3BO02Jcuji7BOzS

When you pray. “Be Bold!!!!” Pray for the super natural to meet the natural, and for Heaven to invade earth. Invite the Holy Spirit to pray with you. When the Spirit of God moves in He gives you a boldness to pray for things you normally wouldn’t pray for. Hebrews 4:15-16:

“This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” #dailydevotional #devotional #warriorsforchrist #prayer

Be Bold

“Be Bold”

When you pray. “Be Bold!!!!” Pray for the super natural to meet the natural, and for Heaven to invade earth. Invite the Holy Spirit to pray with you. When the Spirit of God moves in He gives you a boldness to pray for things you normally wouldn’t pray for.

God shows you what to pray for even when you have no clue. He will start to stir things in your heart and mind. Allow, Him to use those thoughts, proclaim them, and turn them into power that are like sound waves that echo from hear to Heaven.

God didn’t create us to be silent, or timid. He created us to be Warriors! Warriors that pray for power, and guidance from a living God. You are strong and courageous. Let that courage and strength come out when you pray in boldness.

Exceed your understanding of prayer, and expand Gods understanding of prayer in you. Ask for His eyes to see, His ears to hear, His heart to love, and His mind in you to think how He thinks.

Prayer to pray:

God overflow me today. Give me a boldness to pray for things I normally wouldn’t pray for. Let me believe, and pray with your understanding. Give me a Warriors heart to pray for the things going on around me today. I need you to show me your heart. Guide me Holy Spirit, and let there be sound waves that come out of my mouth that are directly transferred from here to heaven.

Challenge: Pray for those things that you normally wouldn’t pray for because they seem impossible of being conquered. Let the boldness of a “Prayer Warrior” come out in you today.

Hebrews 4:15-16:

“This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”

Leaving a Legacy

Leaving a Legacy:

I have had the privilege to be around some pretty powerful Godly men and women in my life that have left their blueprint on me. They have helped mold me into the man I am today.

I believe that Jesus wants to do the same with you. I also believe that God puts people in your life to help get the best out of you.

It’s time for you to start living that legacy out. Whether you’re young or old, God wants to leave His legacy through you and use your life. My challenge to you is to live that Legacy outward and not inward.

Direction

“Direction”

Proverbs 3:5-6

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

Direction isn’t always the easiest because are human element loves to get in the way. We love to lean on our understanding, and not God’s understanding. We love to do what we want to do, and forget to follow God’s will.

Trusting in the Lord means us getting out of the way, and digging into the Fathers heart. Search for Gods voice through prayer, and allow Him to speak into your life. Get a journal and jot down what He has to speak to you. Put yourself around people that are going to give wisdom, and encourage God’s direction on your life. Look for words from God through scripture, your quite time with Him, and even through other people. God loves to give hints, pictures, and even visions on the direction of your life. Sometimes all we need to do is be still and know that He is God.

‭‭

Prayer: Father God, direct me on the path that you have for me. Lead me in your will and not mine. Put the proper people in my life that will direct me in the path that you have for me. Father, I need your guidance. You know my heart and what you created me for. Use my life for your purpose and your Kingdom.

Scripture: Psalm 32:8, Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 8:28, Isaiah 48:17

Prayer for Companionship

Companionship

Companionship:

Psalms 34:3-4 “I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.”

We have to treat our relationship with Jesus as a true companionship. Jesus is someone that we can go to in any situation, or circumstance. Even if it is fragile. He is constantly right around the corner, or right behind us ready to answer what ever we throw at him. Know that Jesus has your back.

Do you look at your relationship with Jesus as a companionship? Do you know that you can go to Jesus at any moment in the day? Is there anything you need to talk to Jesus about today?

Turn Your Trials into Joy

Be Still

https://youtube.com/shorts/3SYBzvb0CVw?si=gLz96HRjBZvLYyjk

Be Still:

It is so hard to be still at times, especially in a world that is constantly moving and constantly going.

Some of my most peaceful moments have come when I have unplugged myself from the world and sat in the stillness of Gods presence. He wants to shine upon us, and pour his graciousness upon, but we have to find those still moments to quite our heart before Jesus.

My challenge to you is to find a quite place to sit before the Lord every single day and just be still. Journal what God wants to speak to you in those moments.

Jesus has called you to more. You may feel inadequate at times, but you are chosen in the Makers eyes. Here’s a prayer  for you today. #dailydevotional #devotional #prayer #warriorsforchrist #chosen

Chosen

Chosen:

You are chosen whether you think it, feel it, or know it. You may not feel chosen, but God chose you even before you came into this world.

God wants to use you in whatever field, profession, sport, career, and pathway that you are on. Where has God chose you to be a light, and do you believe God has chosen you?

Anger

Anger is something I have struggled with for a long time, but it is also an area where I have grown tremendously.

Anger is something that can be controlled if we allow God to dive down deep into the depths of it right when it is happening, or even before it happens. James 1:19 is a verse that has helped me out big time and I believe it will do the same for you if you struggle with anger.

Breath when you need to breath, give your situation to God, be slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Have a blessed day.
