Ephesians 6:14-17 reads "Stand your ground, putting on the sturdy belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News, so that you will be fully prepared. In every battle you will need faith as your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by Satan. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

Vision

The vision for Warriors for Christ is to change the label that has been placed upon athletes and intertwine God into the athletic realm. Warriors for Christ is a sports ministry based on implementing God in sports the way he should be portrayed, and to help athlete’s build a deeper relationship with the creator of the universe. This ministry wants to grow athletes into the men and women that they were created to be. Our ministry wants to see athletes grow Biblically and Spiritually. Warriors for Christ is a ministry that wants to build up “Warriors” to take a stand for God.

Today’s youth have taken in a different interpretation because of the way that media has portrayed today’s athlete’s. Our organization wants to break the barrier that is going on in today’s society.

Warriors for Christ will be setting up a team of athletic leaders from every sport to help athletes grow on their walk with God, reach out to the hopeless, and lead people to the cross. We will set up facilities across the country where athletes from each sport can come train, learn, pray, and talk about God. Along with this, Warriors for Christ will reach out to the community by hosting events, social networking, sports specific camps, bible studies, concerts, conferences, and more. Mission Statement

In 2012, Warriors for Christ was founded with the mission to build up Athletes that live and play for God on and off the field. We believe that God sent his one and only son to die for our sins. We believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. As athletes for God we are suppose to lead by example to the others around us. We uphold the truth that the Bible teaches, and we are supposed to follow the instruction that scripture reveals to us. God looks at us in the same exact way that he looks at Christ, so we must take the same stand that Christ took for us.

The whole purpose of Warriors for Christ is to rise up athletes to grow closer to the Lord, become leaders on and off the field, and to be a light of God into others lives. We do not know when our last day is going to be, so let’s do the best we can to bring others to salvation, and for us to build a deeper intimate relationship with our God every breath of the day. Warriors for Christ rise up.
